Kolawole “Kola” Aluko is one of the most wanted Nigerians in the world, accused by the US Department of Justice of stealing billions of dollars in collusion with Nigeria’s former oil minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke.
Kola Aluko is notorious for his lavish, playboy lifestyle – splashing millions on parties and luxury yachts. And getting him photos and selfies with Hollywood A-list celebrities and other rich and famous personalities.

In 2013, Kola Aluko was photographed with supermodel Naomi Campbell shopping in Paris after she had broken up with another (billionaire) boyfriend.
Kola Aluko raced as a a Ferrari 458 GT2 at Rome’s famous Vallelunga circuit with teammates Thomas Kemenater (Ferrari World Champion) and Maurizio Mediani.
It’s not just American celebrities o! Kola Aluko has been seen hanging out with Nigerian business woman Mo Abudu at his Kola Aluko foundation (see the lady in the flowered dress)
This selfie is from P-Diddy / Puff Daddy’s Instagram page – where the singer calls himself “Oluwadiddy” and says “I love Nigeria!” He seems to like Kola too…!
This is a photo of Kola with Ozwald Boateng, a famous English designer of Ghanian descent, and the two men founded the “Made in Africa” foundation.
Kola Aluko also splashed out on the luxury “Galactica Star” yacht – and although we don’t have any photos of them together – he rented out the boat to Beyonce and Jay Z for a reported $900,000 a week for Beyonce’s 32nd birthday. This is a photo of the couple on the boat (and you can see the full size of the boat in the top-lefthand corner)
A photo of Kola with Nigeria’s former President Goodluck Jonathan – who appointed and supported Diezani Alison-Madueke as the country’s oil minister despite all the accusations of corruption.
Strangely, there is no public photo of Kola Aluko and Diezani Alison-Madueke together – but we’ve no doubt they know each other well, so this one will have to do!
Aluko and another man, Jide Omokore, are alleged to have paid bribes between 2011 and 2015 to oil minister Alison-Madueke to ensure shell companies owned by the two businessmen were awarded billion-dollar contracts to sell Nigerian crude oil. The oil swap contracts were a controversial barter arrangement which saw Nigeria use middlemen to sell crude oil in exchange for refined products. With local refineries under-performing, oil swap deals were used to shore up local demand for petroleum products. Between 2010 and 2014, under Diezani’s watch, Nigeria is estimated to have channeled over 352 million barrels of oil worth a total of $35 billion into oil swap deals.
